When you create a donor account, we collect the information needed to maintain that account, including your name, email address, and a record of your donations.

When you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

Our website runs on standard web infrastructure that may automatically record limited technical information such as your IP address and browser type. We use a security and fraud-prevention service to protect our forms from automated abuse.

When you sign up for our newsletter or contact list, we collect your name and email address. We manage these communications through HubSpot. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects standard usage information such as pages visited and general location, and uses cookies to do so. This helps us improve the site. We do not use any additional analytics or tracking add-ons.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to process and acknowledge your donations, maintain your donor account, issue tax receipts, send our newsletter and updates to people who have signed up, respond to your messages, and meet our legal and financial reporting obligations as a nonprofit organization. We may use your contact information to communicate with you about a donation you have made.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not trade or rent it.

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate, such as our payment processor, our website and donation hosting platforms, our email and contact-management provider (HubSpot), and our analytics provider (Google). These providers handle your information solely to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Evergreen Produce Connection, our donors, or the public.

Payment Processing

Donations are processed through a third-party payment provider. Your full payment card information is handled by that provider under its own security and privacy practices and is not retained by Evergreen Produce Connection.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep for legal or financial reporting purposes. To make a request, contact us using the information below.

Children

Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.
